  • Mike founded Sport Psychology Consultants in 1983 and has guided near 2000 athletes over the years. He worked with groups from professional football to elite figure skating. As a former competitive athlete, Mike’s unique style resonates with athletes of all levels in search of the game within the game, applying sport psychology and mental training to become the athlete you want to be. Mike’s passion is working with high school and college age athletes to enhance their mental edge. It is not his position to inspire or motivate you to perform; rather, he is here to help you find inspirations from within. You must learn that it is more important to be able to push your own button, than to rely on others to keep you on track. When you are the best that you can be, your level of life satisfaction and happiness will lead you to success, and if that is in the competitive arena, then there is little that can hold you back. Some of his most popular workshops include performance imagery, relaxation during competition, mental toughness, and lessons from world-class athletes.
